Instagram is a really neat app I use on my iPhone to share photos. When I post photos on Instagram, I also share them on Twitter, Facebook, and my Flickr account as well. It’s pretty neat app when I remember to use it.
Here are some photos and little blurbs from Spring…
I love to take the kids just one at a time and do something fun. The fun usually includes the purchase of something of course. Chase and I took a trip to Barnes and Noble because he wanted to buy a diary. It had to have a lock and we were lucky enough to find one! We also picked out an Animal Facts book for Blake and some Judy Moody books for Karli.
Karli gets really freaked out when she sees Chase doing this… She screams “Tell Chase to quit looking at his brains!”
I take too many pictures of my baby Tori. She is the best dog ever!
It’s been fun watching Blake progress at baseball this year. He has hit 2 home runs so far and has been playing several positions including catcher.
This is Chase and Karli in a nut shell…
One of my favorite photos this year. The tree in our front yard losing all of its petals. You can’t really tell, but Karli was jumping in the air.
Karli and my niece Emma going to see a movie.
One night Andrew and Karli were both gone for the night so we had just Chase and Blake with us so we went to Pizza Papalis and afterward caught the fireworks shows that was put on after the Toledo Mud Hens baseball game. I don’t care what anyone says…having two kids is a piece of cake!!
My kids think that Tori (my Yorkie) is their little play thing. Karli especially will carry her around from room to room pretending like they are best buds. Tori often tries to run and growl at Karli, but she doesn’t always succeed… Like today.
Conversation with Karli after I found these photos on the computer when I got home.
Me: Karli, do you think Tori likes being tortured like that?
Karli: How would I know? I am only in first grade! And they haven’t taught me anything this year! Especially about dogs…I haven’t learned one thing about dogs this year.
WOW.
Or maybe we just love watching them eat it!
Stressful week…so I am trying to focus on the positive.
Things that made me smile yesterday:
Karli and Chase keep arguing about whose Mother’s Day gift is better. Two years ago Chase made me the same Mother’s Day present that Karli made me this year. I use them as coasters on my desk. He says his is better because the dots are all in the right places. They were made with dipping their fingertips in paint. Karli’s says hers is better because it is more beautiful because it has much more colors and dots on it. I love them both equally! Plus, I didn’t tell them this, but Chase actually had my help with his where Karli did hers herself!
Karli has this corner in my office where she colors, writes, and makes things pretty much every morning before she goes to school. Today I found that she covered her table with a piece of pink tissue paper. She said it was her tablecloth. Did you notice that the two coasters underneath the paper roll?
Tori kept knocking down the kitchen gate on the smaller doorway whenever we left the house. I finally had Ken install a different gate on that is attached to the wall. No more using the expandable gate that takes the paint off the walls! As long as we have dogs we need these gates for when we leave for long periods, as much as they annoy me, they save my carpet.
POOL IS OPEN!! Nevermind that it has been in the 50’s here lately. Soon the warm weather will be here and we will be ready to swim! Only 4 more weeks of school after this week!
What happens when you leave a Nintendo DS Game laying on the floor….
The dogs are pretty good about not chewing toys, but every so often Tori or Shaggy see something small and yummy looking laying around and they feast on it. Pretty expensive chew toy I’d say. Well I’m off to buy the New Moon DVD. I am half tempted to buy the Twilight Graphic Novel – Volume 1, after I complained about Stephenie Meyer milking Twilight for every last cent she can. The reviews are pretty good and I am a sucker for anything related to Twilight. I’m going to flip through the pages first, lol.
Karli took the first one of Tori. Isn’t she the cutest scraggly looking dog? Why are Yorkie’s ears so big? The other pics are from the Speedway that we went to last Friday. The kids had a lot of fun at the track. It’s not really my cup of tea, it sort of reminds me of camping (dirty and yucky), which I don’t care for unless it’s in a fully equipped log cabin or something. I managed though and hopefully the kids won’t ask to go back anytime soon.
