~ How
Did Our Family Nest bring in the New Year? ~
TOGETHER
~This year with the
recent arrival of baby Chase on Nov. 25th, we decided it was
best to stay home. We always say how nice it would be to get
out and have an adults only evening, but when it comes down to
it, we always end up opting to stay home and bring in the new
year with our children~ what better way!
~After going out to
dinner with my sister, Heather, and her husband, Don. We were
back at home and my parents came over so the guys could play
poker. Us girls basically just took care of the kids needs and
chatted.
~At the stroke of
midnight we all toasted with a glass of wine in plastic cups,
including the kids. (well not Chase-*Grin). There are pictures
of that down below! Andrew and Blake both made funny
faces, but Andrew actually drank all of his. No one said
anything, but it was like he thought he HAD to drink it all,
like we make him do at dinner time with his milk! It was a
funny sight!
