First Communion Invitations

Chase will be making his First Communion this month and our immediate family is invited to the mass and a luncheon at our house afterward. In the past I have made many invitations for the kids myself on the computer for birthday parties and holidays. I had received a Christmas card from a friend that was from Tiny Prints and thought it was so adorable I couldn’t wait to order some cards from their website. When ordering you have the option of having your cards printed with a Matte or Semigloss finish, both on heavyweight cardstock. I choose the Matte finish which is basically a very flat-no shine appearance. I absolutely LOVE the way the invitations turned out. I will definitely be ordering our Christmas cards from their website this year as well. I know Tiny Prints has been around for awhile and most of you have probably heard of them…but still wanted to share how happy I was with my order!

Chase’s hair was getting so long, which I loved by the way. I would always comb it in a sort of Justin Bieber style, but it is so fine and straight even with hair spray it wouldn’t stay. The day I was taking this photo out in our front yard the wind was blowing like crazy so it took several shots to get the right one. Chase didn’t mind because he had been dying to put his suit on that we bought him for his First Communion. I bet he will be asking to wear it to church every week as well. I’m kind of sad though because the other day when Chase got his baseball uniform he was throwing a fit about his hair being in his face every time he put his baseball cap on. I tried to show him how to tuck his bangs up in his hat, but he wasn’t having it. He begged me to just give him a trim. He didn’t want Ken to take him to the barber because he always gets it shorter than he wants. So despite my protests I trimmed it up just a bit. I call it the Not so Noticeable but Free! haircut. It’s still on the longer side, but not long enough to call him Justin Bieber anymore.

Chase's not so noticable haircut

Actually comparing both photographs you can hardly even tell I cut it…oh well.
